The rural setting is what sets Adult Life Programs’ Maiden Center apart. Located at the Catawba Valley Baptist Church off Buffalo Shoals Road, the Maiden Center is the only center in a rural area of Catawba County and is accessible to people living in Lincoln County. In operation since 2002, the center is licensed for 24 participants and consistently maintains good attendance. This use of adult day care in a rural setting is a testimonial to the widespread need for adult day care in our community.

FOCUS

Participants have a wide range of needs and the Maiden Center’s focus is to concentrate on their day-to-day necessities and activities.

FACILITIES and SERVICES
Daily activities include visits from community volunteers, pet therapy, exercise, mental stimulation activities, cooking, music, crafts and one of the favorites at the Maiden Center, “porch sitting” and visiting. Check out this month’s menu and activities at the Maiden Center.
